Pemberdayaan Kader dan Tokoh Masyarakat melalui Edukasi Henti Jantung dan Napas Berbasis Komunitas
Abstract
Cardiac and respiratory arrest are emergency conditions that require immediate treatment by first responders on the scene. In Sukamulya District, Tangerang Regency, low health literacy, a lack of psychological preparedness among the community for emergencies, and limited media literacy regarding emergency information contribute to delays in initial response. Furthermore, community cadres and leaders lack the necessary skills to recognize the signs of cardiac and respiratory arrest or administer proper first aid. This situation highlights the need for a comprehensive empowerment and education program, encompassing health, psychological, and media literacy aspects, to improve rapid and appropriate responses to emergency incidents at the community level.
